Holley 600 cfm Carburetor

Model 4160, vacuum secondaries, single feed, 600 cfm, four-barrel, dichromate finish, carburetor with single fuel inlet, externally adjustable side-hung floats, single accelerator pump, secondaries metering plate, and vacuum secondaries. This is a budget performance carburetor for the street. And the one installed on the Banzai Runner was very old and leaked gas - a very dangerous condition. I have replaced this carburetor with a new Holley 760 Avenger, and cleaned up the hose routing in the engine compartment.

Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold

This Performer intake manifold for Ford 351M/400 is a dual-plane, cast aluminum, low-rise design with a 180 degree firing order and patented runner design. This design provides torque over a wide rpm range, especially off-idle through mid-range. The manufacturer claims it provides improved throttle response over a stock manifold, however it's been argued that the stock cast iron 351C manifold flows well too. But you can't argue that the Edelbrock aluminum manifold will save a ton of sprung weight.

Heavy duty Spicer half-shafts

The stock half-shafts are hollow and prone to twisting under the torque developed by the Ford 351 Cleveland engine.
