Lower Radiator Hose Replacement

Most all of the hoses on the the Banzai Runner are Gates Green Stripe hoses, however the hose that failed was a universal "accordion" style flex hose. I removed the hose and took it down to the my local Kragen to match the shape of the bend with molded hoses on their rack. I found 3-4 hoses that looked like close matches and bought all of them.

Once back home, I crawled under the car and did a "sight check" of the fit of each hose to determine which one most closely approximated the necessary bend. I made my selection, then cut the hose to length and installed it.

After completing the lower radiator hose installation I had the brilliant idea to review my Pantera service manual. The prior owner had made notes and sketched a small picture of what appears to be the radiator hose I just replaced. The notes list the following Ford parts number, as well as a hose which will interchange with the Ford hose.
